Georgios Antoniou: Black hole quasinormal modes in quadratic gravity

I will discuss the presence of hairy black hole solutions in the context of quadratic gravity. These black hole solutions can be parametrized by the mass of a massive spin-2 mode, and only exist within a specific parameter range. I will then examine perturbations of the metric and auxiliary tensor field and study the quasinormal mode spectrum of both hairy and Schwarzschild black holes in quadratic gravity.
