Abstract

The National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN) is at the forefront of fundamental research, generating cutting-edge technologies with significant potential for industrial applications. This seminar will explore INFN's technology transfer initiatives, showcasing successful case studies and highlighting the mechanisms through which research outputs are translated into tangible societal benefits. We will discuss the diverse range of technologies developed at INFN, including advanced detectors, computing solutions, and medical imaging techniques, and examine how these innovations are being leveraged by industry partners. Furthermore, the seminar will delve into the strategies and programs that facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration between INFN researchers and the private sector, fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.
