Description
The recent Pulsar timing array (PTA) data release by several collaborations shows evidence of the passage of gravitational waves (GW) in the nHz range. Along with the classical astrophysical explanation, namely mergers of SMBHs bynary, alternative cosmological models have been proposed. In this talk we will focus on the Scalar induced gravitational waves (SIGW) explanation. Discussing in which scenarios the signal can be well fitted by the SIGW explanation and what we can indirectly learn from this signal on the abundance of Primordial black holes in the (sub)-solar mass range.
