How to reach L'Aquila
L'Aquila is a city in the centre of Italy, at about 110 Km east of Rome.
The closest international airports are Fiumicino Airport (∼150 km) and Ciampino Airport (∼120 km).
The train service to L’Aquila is NOT RECOMMENDED since it takes a very long time and you have to change trains several times.
Bus from Rome Fiumicino or Ciampino airport
From airports, the best way is to get a bus to L’Aquila (just outside Arrivals of Terminal 3 at Fiumicino, or from the bus bays right outside the terminal at Ciampino).

Bus from Rome Tiburtina railway station
From Rome Tiburtina railway station, the best way is to get a bus to L’Aquila from Tiburtina bus parking lot. It is about 300 m away from the Tiburtina railway station.

How to reach LNGS
Daily shuttle buses will pickup people from L'Aquila city center to LNGS and will bring them back at the end of each school day.
Timetable:
L’Aquila Madi City Hotel -> LNGS
Sept 8 to 12 (first week): 8:30 am
Sept 15 to 18 (second week): 8:45 am
LNGS -> L’Aquila Madi City Hotel
Sept 8 to 18: 6:00 pm (with some exception for social events)
If you plan to reach LNGS independently by car:
the laboratory is located near the exit Assergi on highway A24 Teramo - Rome.

If you plan to reach LNGS independently by bus:
the main bus station in L'Aquila is located downtown and is called Collemaggio Terminal Bus (final bust stop for TUA buses above).
The city bus M6 departs from Collemaggio Terminal Bus and reaches Assergi and the Laboratory buildings.
