Description

Workshop on "Quasi-Interactive Analysis of Big Data with High Throughput" (also known as "Analysis Facility").

Nowadays, data analysis in the experimental physics community increasingly requires more computational resources and access to larger volumes of data. For this reason, new innovative approaches are becoming increasingly essential: from “batch-processing” methods to an interactive platform for high-rate analysis, based on declarative solutions and distributed, parallel resources.

This workshop, part of the activities related to the Spoke2 (“Fundamental Research and Space Economy”) of the ICSC National Center, aims to describe these platforms and how to best utilise them from a user perspective, to make scientific analysis applications even more efficient and faster.

Please note:

This event includes CMS-dedicated sessions, following up the CMS Italy first workshop on data analysis organised during March 2022.

This part of the workshop is restricted to the members of CMS, and starts from the afternoon of the 9th of January

The first part of the event (8th and 9th morning), instead, is open to the entire scientific community, with particular focus on LHC experiments.

Remote participation is available, although in person attendance is adviced
