Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the release of the Second Circular of the Italy–Japan Symposium on Joint Activities in Fundamental Physics – 日伊基礎物理学共同研究活動シンポジウム, an event dedicated to celebrating and revitalizing the long-standing collaboration between Italy and Japan in nuclear physics, nuclear astrophysics, and particle physics.
The Symposium is organized under the patronage of the Embassy of Japan in Italy, as part of the commemorative initiatives marking the 160th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Symposium Website and Registration

We kindly invite all participants to register at their earliest convenience.
Invited speakers are asked to submit the abstract of their contribution through the dedicated section of the website.
Accommodation
We are pleased to announce that 40 rooms have been reserved at:
Hotel Sicilia – Enna
for the period 8–12 March 2026 with the following special rates:
- Double room used as single, breakfast included: €75.00 per room/night
- Double/twin room for two persons, breakfast included: €100.00 per room/night
- City tax: €2.00 per person/night
Hotel booking instructions are available on the conference website.
Participants are encouraged to secure their accommodation as early as possible.
Registration Fee
A participation fee of €150 (approximately 27,000 JPY) will be asked to all attendees.
We are working to ensure that this fee includes:
- Meals during the Symposium
- Local transportation associated with the meeting
- Social events
Details regarding the payment method are available on the Symposium website. The deadline for the registration fee payment is on 15 February 2026.
Program and Schedule
The meeting will run from 9 to 12 March 2026 at the Università degli Studi di Enna “Kore”
A preliminary program will be uploaded to the website once all invited speakers have confirmed their attendance.
