  • Pulse finder presentation (C. Salerno, Sapienza Università di Roma)
  • Merger connection to TSPs: final raw data files are built from the merger. What happens if the merger dies? Structure the software so that this does not happen.
  • M.R: Why don’t we have an intermediate buffer between the tsp and the merger (instead of going straight through network).
B.S:  not much disk space on the TSPs, need to keep it simple
  • Need to clarify I/O from disk from the point of view of thee hardware constraints. No special constraints if the final event size is 60 MB/s (it is going to be larger for calibration data)
  • Need for discussion about comments to TDR (e.g. GPS time : 1 double for the time and 1 for the rest instead of float)
  • A.K: edm for the veto, summary about the work + time distribution zle vs hit → should we save the hits also for the veto? Do we gain anything by saving the hits? Next week: run neutrons and compare → presentation!
  • T.H: Waveform dump integration in DSLab to be completed in a few days
  • P.S: exercise on FFT algorithms to be tested on Edinburgh data + midas files from TRIUMF
There are minutes attached to this event. Show them.
    • 18:00 19:00
      OO WG 1h
      • Detector monitoring: current status
      • Veto update
      • Pulse finder 20m
Speaker: Camilla Salerno (Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare)
