EuPRAXIA is the first European project that develops a dedicated particle accelerator research infrastructure based on novel plasma acceleration concepts driven by innovative laser and linac technologies. It was accepted onto the ESFRI roadmap for strategically important research infrastructures in June 2021 as a European priority.
The EuPRAXIA project aims at the construction of an innovative electron accelerator using laser- and electron-beam–driven plasma wakefield acceleration that offers a significant reduction in size and possible savings in cost over current state-of-the-art radiofrequency (RF)-based accelerators.
The EuPRAXIA Consortium will hold a Satellite Meeting during BSBF 2024 on 1st October 2024 in Trieste, Italy. The participants of BSBF 2024 are cordially invited to attend this meeting to explore the opportunities to be involved in the development of this important infrastructure.
This satellite meeting will offer participants a comprehensive overview of the project's status, insights into potential collaboration opportunities, and information on funding possibilities from both EU and UK government sources. The event will feature an open microphone session for discussions and a networking session to foster connections and partnerships.
We hope to see you at BSBF 2024 and the EuPRAXIA satellite meeting!
