Description
The gas permeability of lanthanum carbide samples with different amount of interconnected porosity was measured by mean of the high temperature permeameter. First results, their comparison with room temperature analysis and their extrapolation towards the real operating conditions of the target (T=2000°C) will be presented. The results will be discussed as function of the strucutral evolution of the material at high temperature.
