From Ciampino Airport, take a bus to Rome Termini station, or take a bus+train to Rome Termini station (Ciampino Airlink) and then take a train to Naples.

Hydrofoils take about 1 hour; ferry-boats take about 1.5 hours.
If you travel by car, the most convenient port to reach Ischia is Pozzuoli.

Passengers must arrive at the port in advance. Participants are advised to check the boarding times carefully: check-in procedures must be completed within 30/60 minutes before departure time, depending on the ship company.

The ISCHIA CONTINENTAL HOTEL is located about 2 km from Ischia Port. It can be reached by taxi or by bus (lines CD, 5, 6).

On Sunday afternoon, April 13th, and on Saturday morning, April 19th, a few shuttles will be provided in conjunction with the arrivals and departures of the ferries to/from the hotel Continental. The shuttle service must be requested during registration and confirmed by participants based on the timing of their ferries.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR DRIVERS

Starting in April, a ban on disembarkation and circulation is expected to come into effect on the island of Ischia for vehicles owned or driven by residents of the Campania region (Italy) or registered there.

Participants residing in Campania or with vehicles registered in Campania who plan to reach Ischia by car should contact the Organizing Secretariat for information and required documents for the permit by March 15, 2025 (lpaw2025@lists.lnf.infn.it).

As these restrictions are expected to apply also to vehicles registered in Campania, all participants (including non-Italian participants) planning to rent a car to reach Ischia are advised to inform the rental agency of their destination, specifying their arrival and departure dates, and to request a vehicle that is exempt from the island’s disembarkation and circulation restrictions.
