All conference contributors (invited lecturers, oral and poster presenters), but also other colleagues as long as the subject matter is within the scope of the Workshop, are welcome to submit their paper to be published after the peer-review process in a Special Issue of the Plasma Physics and Controlled Fusion  (Here) on LPAW 2025 Workshop.

Submission process:

All special issue articles are subject to the same review process as regular articles.

Please submit your article via online submission form. You should submit the appropriate article type for your submission then choose Special Issue on ‘Laser-Plasma Accelerators Workshop 2025 (LPAW 2025)' from the drop-down menu (NOT YET AVAILABLE).

Article format and templates:

You can format your paper in the way that you choose! It is not necessary to try to produce pages that look like published journal pages, as the detailed design (typesetting) work will be undertaken by IOP as part of the production process.

Deadline for submissions:

The target deadline for submissions is 30 November 2025. We encourage early submission where possible, as articles will be published on acceptance without being delayed by other papers in the collection.

Access policy:

Plasma Physics and Controlled Fusion is a hybrid open access journal. Authors have the option to pay an article publication charge (APC) to publish their article on a gold open access basis under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) licence. Articles published on a gold open access basis are freely available to everyone to read and reuse immediately upon publication, provided the terms of the licence are followed and clear attribution to the author is given.

Alternatively authors who do not select the gold open access option can choose a green open access route to publication.
