How to reach Bormio

Bormio is located in the Italian Alps, approximately 190 km north of Milano.

 

To Reach Bormio

By Public Transportations

* From Milano Airports of Linate, Malpensa and Orio al Serio there are direct buses to Bormio (schedule). See also the web sites Livigno Express (info at +39 0342 996283) and http://www.mtbus.it/ 

* From Milano Aiports (Linate, Malpensa and Orio al Serio) there are regular direct buses to the Central Railway Station in Milano (Milano Centrale).

* From Milano Malpensa Airport there are also regular trains (every hour or less) to the Central Railway Station in Milano (check the Train schedule at the web page: TRENITALIA)

* From Milano Central Railway Station there are regular trains to TIRANO (approximately 3 hours trip).    

Train tickets can be purchased at the train station in Milano (vending machine or ticket counter).

 * From TIRANO regular Buses (adjusted to the Train Schedule) bring to Bormio in about 40 minutes. 

Bus tickets can be bought at the ticket counter of the Perego Bus Company in Tirano (take the platform underpass and follow the sign bus terminal)

By car

 * About 190 km,  approx. 3.5 h:
   Take the SS36 Milano from Milano to Lecco-Colico 

   Exit onto SS38 toward Sondrio->Tirano ->Bormio
