This abstract outlines the isolation of trace Th, Ac, and/or Ra impurities from Ra-224, Pb-212, or Bi-212 drug products for the analysis of radionuclidic purity. Extraction chromatography separation followed by microprecipitation and alpha spectrometry allows for the quantification of trace radionuclides present in less than 0.01% abundance.
