The 4th edition of the FLAG Workshop: The Quantum and Gravity will be held in Catania
(Italy) on September 9-11, 2024. The event is supported by the Theory Committee (CSN4)
of the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN), together with the INFN Sezione di Catania
and Sezione di Bologna, and the Physics and Astronomy Department “E. Majorana” of the
University of Catania.
The workshop, organised by the INFN research network FLAG (FieLds And Gravity),
is devoted to the fundamental gravitational interaction and related theoretical studies
of cosmology and black holes. Aim of the event is to bring together researchers in these
fields, to present new ideas and stimulate discussions on these topics.
The programme is arranged in three days dedicated respectively to black holes,
cosmology and quantum gravity in general.
Students and postdocs are especially encouraged to participate and contribute to the
workshop. Registration and abstract submission are presently open although, due to
logistic limitations we will accommodate a maximum of 60 participants.
