The conference will be held at the Venetian Congress Centre (Centro Congressi delle Venezie) located in the Alexander Palace Hotel**** at Abano Terme (Padova), Italy. A few kilometers from Padua and surrounded by the relaxing greenery of the Euganean Hills, Abano Terme is a thermal town, famous worldwide for its healing mud and spa treatments. The hotel offers two swimming pools, free for participants.
Wi-fi is free for all EURORIB’12 registrants at the Conference place.

The nearest airport is Venezia (Venice) Airport "Marco Polo" at Tessera-Venezia.

Meeting Point:
Outside the Airport, turn on the right, 150mt towards the PARK BUS (in yellow on the map). Look for a BUS of the tranportation firm “MICHIELOTTO”, carrying the EURORIB’12 logo in front.
For participants arriving on other days or times, there are SITA buses from Venice airport direct to Abano Terme (90 minutes ride). You can check timetable here http://ro.autobus.it/ro/asp/RicercaOrari.asp?User=SITA (Departure bus stop: VENEZIA AEROPORTO MARCO POLO TESSERA, Arrival bus stop: ABANO COLUMBUS). Get off at Piazza C. Colombo, in front of the Hospital of Abano.
There is also a private shuttle service from the Airport at the cost of 30€ per transfer (70€ for arrivals/departures after 22:30). By Train:
Padova is at the crossroad of the Venezia-Milano and Venezia-Roma railways: many trains are available. Once in Padova there is a regular bus service (APS) from Padova Railway Station to Abano Terme (lines A, AT, M, T). The trip takes about 40 minutes.
A few local trains also stop at Terme Euganee-Montegrotto which is only 5 Km from Abano.
By Car:
Abano can be reached by car on the A4 Milano-Venezia Motorway, exit “Padova ovest”, then take the bypass west (Corso Australia) until the turn-off for Abano. Follow the provincial road that takes you from Padua to Abano and after 4 km you will reach the thermal centre. For those who arrive from the A13 motorway (Bologna-Padua) take the “Terme Euganee” exit, then follow the SS Adriatica towards Padua and at the Mezzavia cross-road turn left. After the underpass continue towards Abano.
A few car places are availble at the hotel. The nearest free parking lot is in Via Calle Pace (see map for details).
