Genoa Airport
The closest airport is Genova Airport.
Just at the exit you can find taxis that could drive you to the physics department (via Dodecaneso 33).
The Genoa Airport "Cristoforo Colombo" is linked to "Sestri Ponente Aeroporto" railway station by the Airlink shuttle service. Airlink operates one ride every 15 minutes from 6.00 am to 10 pm. You can use the Airlink service with a normal bus ticket (1,5 euros) or the bus+train local ticket (1,6 euros), and with a tourist ticket (more information on the AMT website).
Alternatively, the Genoa airport is also linked to the main railway station in Genoa (Genova Brignole) by bus with Volabus service. Milan Airport

The largest airports nearby are Milan airports (Malpensa, Linate, or Orio al Serio/Bergamo).
