Attendees:

Primary objective was to identify the engineering information that needs to be shared to deal with the interfaces between our respective work.

Identification of engineering information needs

Discussion of how best to track and share information

  • Desire was for a central repository with information that is easy to use
  • A variety of software is currently being used by various engineers including: Box, Slack, Click up, Vault, and Wiki pages
  • Plan is to work with the overall ID group to select a platform that best suits the needs of the Collaboration

Priorities for near future forums – ideas suggested include:

  • Presentation on overall experiment
  • Identify interface issues with Optical Planes (dedicated meeting)
  • Contact list
  • Ways to have more instant communication
  • Schedule

ACTION ITEMS

By December 5th, add your information needs to the googlesheet in the link shown in point 1 above. Add an extra Tab (an extra Sheet) at the bottom referring to your own activity by duplicating the sheet that Dave prepared (right click on the Sheet Tab “Example from Dave” and select DUPLICATE) If you have trouble, email your items to Dave and cc Luca.

By December 5th, all engineers need to check the weights of their items in the TPC Assembly Mass and Buoyancy Analysis report and inform Nina if revisions are required (e.g. weights or volumes not correct, things missing, etc..).

Unless comments are received by December 2, 2023, these minutes will be taken as final.
