In this talk I will explore how Unitarity and Causality strongly constrain the landscape of SU(Nc) theories in the Large-Nc limit. I will show how the space of allowed UV completions of the 2-2 pion-scattering amplitude reduces to a handful of interesting theories. Furthermore I will show the natural emergence of Vector Meson Dominance (an effect observed in QCD), providing an explanation for the success of holographic models to describe strongly-coupled theories. These results apply to QCD but also have important implications on BSM physics.
