Overview of the PEROV results

Since several years, the organometal halide perovskites (OMHP) semiconductors have been proved to be promising material for fast, sensitive large-area photodetectors, and, more recently, also for ionization radiation, beside the well known success as photovoltaic devices. The OHMP present strong stopping power, defect-tolerance, large mobility lifetime (μτ) product, tunable bandgap and simple single crystal growth from low-cost solution processes.

In this seminar the PEROV group activity will be reported with a special focus on the experimental results obtained with LNF Test Beam facility with charged particles on bulk MAPBr crystals as well as the light response with films and uCrystals.
