There has been much recent progress towards extending the BFKL approach to next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic (NNLL) accuracy. In this talk I will briefly review the status of this programme of research, listing the missing ingredients of the kernel and impact factors. I will then discuss our recent work in extracting some of these missing ingredients. In particular, I will focus on our recent extraction of the one-loop corrections to the gg, qg, and qq̄ impact factors. I will emphasise the non-trivial colour structure that remains after taking next-to-multi-Regge (NMRK) limits of one-loop amplitudes in QCD.
