Description

Before the discovery of quarks, Nicola Cabibbo arrived at the correct formulation of the mechanism responsible for quark mixing. This meeting will celebrate Cabibbo’s 1963 feat, which paved the way to the unification of electromagnetic and weak interactions, and his other extraordinary scientific achievements.
