VERTEX is a significant yearly sequence of global workshops that draws physicists and engineers from the high energy and nuclear physics field. The purpose of the workshop is to create an international platform for sharing experiences and insights within the community, and to evaluate current, ongoing, and forthcoming undertakings on vertex detectors based on silicon. The workshop delves into a broad spectrum of subjects, including existing and upcoming detectors, recent advancements, radiation endurance, simulation, tracking and vertexing, electronics and triggering, and their applications in fields such as medicine and others.
The 32th edition of the series will be held on October 16th-20th 2023 in Sestri Levante, a beautiful village on the Ligurian Coast, facing on the Mediterranean Sea.
Participants are expected to attend the meeting for its full duration,
arriving in Sestri Levante on October 15th and leaving on October 21st.
