The closest airport is Genova Airport.
The Genoa Airport "Cristoforo Colombo" is linked to "Sestri Ponente Aeroporto" railway station by the Airlink shuttle service. Airlink operates one ride every 15 minutes from 6.00 am to 10 pm. You can use the Airlink service with a normal bus ticket (1,5 euros) or the bus+train local ticket (1,6 euros), and with a tourist ticket (more information on the AMT website).
Alternatively, the Genoa airport is also linked to the main railway stations in Genoa (Genova Piazza Principe and Genova Brignole) by bus with Volabus service. To reach the conference venue by car from Genoa Cristoforo Colombo airport, take the A7 motorway in the Livorno-Genova Est direction. Then take the A12, pass Recco, Rapallo, Chiavari and exit at Sestri Levante. Turn right into Via Giorgio Bo and take Via Vincenzo Fascie and, at Piazza Sant'Antonio, take the second exit and continue along Viale 20 Settembre. Turn left into Piazza Francesco, continue along Viale Rimembranza, turn left into Piazza Giacomo Matteotti and reach Via Penisola, where the hotel is located.
