High Order Networks: Nuovi strumenti per la complessità

In the last twenty years complex networks, i.e. the study of complex systems using graph theory, have been applied in a myriad of applicative fields and constituted the basis for interdisciplinary applications of physics concepts. In the past few years, use of hyper graphs is being investigated so as to put in evidence higher order interactions in complex systems.
I will describe, in a very simple way, an approach to high order phenomena which is based on Information Theory and is centered in the central notion of "synergy".
