Summary
The CALICE Collaboration
For scintillator calorimeters, the photon sensors are the most
important devices. The newly developed multipixel avalanche
diode named MPPC is one of the candidates for such sensors.
In this talk, we will describe the performance and understanding of
MPPCs. In particular, the signal study which indicates
the fast recovery after a pulse and rather linear behaviour with
many photons will be reported in detail. The radiation tolerance
will also be covered.
