Coming to Bari by plane

The recommended airport is "Bari Palese". It is at 12 km from the town and is connected to the railway station in the center of Bari by a shuttle service. The shuttle stop is just outside the arrival area of the airport, the company name is "Tempesta" (timetable) and the fare is € 4,15.

Coming to Bari by train

The recommended railway station is "Bari Centrale". Several daily trains connect Bari to Rome, Milan and other Italian cities. A timetable can be found on the Trenitalia web site.

Coming to the Campus on foot

From the railway station, use one of the underpasses to go to via Capruzzi; walk along via Capruzzi for about 300 m, turn right on via Re David and walk along it for about 1 km to the Campus entrance (map). You can then walk across the Campus to the Physics Department (map).

Coming to the Campus by car

Using the car in Bari is not recommended since parking is mostly not free and difficult to find. Cars can not enter the Campus unless granted a permanent authorization.
From A14 highway: use exit "Bari Nord" and take the freeway "Tangenziale di Bari" towards Brindisi. Use exit 13A "San Pasquale" and drive about 1 km along via Amendola. At the 3rd traffic light (via Einaudi) turn left, then at the 2nd traffic light (via Salvemini) turn right, go straight ahead about 500 m and you'll be at the via Orabona entrance (map).

Coming to the Campus by city bus

Two bus lines connect the railway station to the Campus: line 21 (use stop near via Re David 200) and line 22 (use stop near via Amendola 173).
