Title: Light, Feebly Interacting Particles: Progress and Expectations

Abstract: The enthusiasm in the physics of light FIPs (feebly interacting particles) has grown immensely in the last few years. The recent establishment of the COSMIC WISPers community and of the FIP Physics Center is a testament of this excitement. Such a community engagement is undoubtedly going to accelerate the development of this field. In this talk, I will briefly discuss some salient features of this field, focusing especially on axions and axion-like particles, which are among the most motivated light FIPs. I will also present some personal opinions on the areas of the parameter space which are especially motivated and on what criteria could guide us through the next decade of axion hunting.
