      Timing resolution analysis method 20m
Relatore: Bong-Hwi Lim (Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare)
      • CFD method
        • The analysis method is in a stable state.
          • Shared with Miko and confirmed the current definitions
        • Current definitions:
          • Baseline: t_0 - 17.5 ns ~ t_0 - 15 ns (2.5ns range)
          • Underline: t_0 + 21.25 ns ~ t_0 + 22.5 ns (1.25 ns range)
        • Keep it as a main reference.
      • Digital CFD (dCFD) method
        • Studied with 3 different parameters (k, d, L)
        • Conclusion: Impossible to select parameters in this method.
      • Discussion:
        • dCFD method - it looks like it was used when the signal has always the same properties (amplitude, fall time, width ...).
          • Our case is not like that.
          • In this case, we have to study about this method:
            • Is it really used only for the constant signal?
            • Can dCFD method be improved if we split the signal width (fall time)?
