Travel info

All people landing in Fiumicino or Ciampino can take a Gaspari or Flixbus direct bus to L’Aquila west side bus station (a.k.a. Amiternum or Hotel Amiternum). Timetable and route prices are available on their websites.

Taxi cab service is normally available at west side station (Radio-Taxi service Phone: +39 0862 25165).

Participants may also take TUA-ARPA buses from Rome Tiburtina bus station to L’Aquila (timetable). First bus stop in L’Aquila is the same as Gaspari and Flixbus routes above (west side bus station, a.k.a. Amiternum). Final bus stop is Terminal Bus Collemaggio, located in L'Aquila downtown.

People travelling by car can take highway A24 from Rome and take the exit L'Aquila Ovest (1-hour drive trip approximately). West side bus station and some of the workshop-affiliated hotels are very close to this highway exit.
