By plane
The closest airport is Genova Airport.
The Genova Airport is linked to the Genova city center by the Volabus, which rides every 30-60 min from and to the airport (6 €).
Alternatively, from the airport, you can reach the Sestri Ponente Aeroporto railway station by the Airlink shuttle service. The Airlink operates one ride every 15 minutes from 6.00 am to 10 pm. You can use the Airlink service with a normal bus ticket (1,5 €) or the bus+train local ticket (1,6 €), and with a tourist ticket.
Finally, taxis are available outside the airport arrival concourse. A flat fare of 25 € is available for rides to and from the city center.
By train
The main train stations in Genova are Piazza Principe and Brignole FS stations. From both stations, the conference venue can be reached by subway, bus, or walking (<30 min).
VISA
Please check here if you need a VISA to come to Italy and attend HADRON202 Should it be the case, the necessary invitation letter can be asked for by writing to the contact email. A copy of the first pages of the passport containing the personal data will be required.
Accommodation
The conference venue is in the historical center of Genova, in an area close to the town business center, where numerous hotels and B&Bs are located.
Good accommodations over a large range of rates can be found using common search engines.
Participants in the conference may also access special rates for a limited number of rooms in hotels listed here*.
