Biography
Dr Sylvie Rousset, Director of Open Research Data Department (DDOR), French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), is a senior researcher at CNRS. From 1997 to 2007 she was a research group leader in nanosciences at the Quantum Materials and Phenomena (MPQ) laboratory, (CNRS / Université Paris Diderot). She then served as director of the MPQ (2007-2010) laboratory. She headed the Nano sciences Center (Priority Research Area) of the greater Paris region (2010-2014) which became the Nano-K Center “From Cold Atoms to Nano sciences” in 2012. In 2014, she became Vice President of Research at the Université Paris Diderot, and in November 2018 she took over the role of Director of the CNRS Scientific and Technical Information Department (DIST), now being the Department of Open Research Data (DDOR).
