Minutes:
We had a lively discussion about the source size and plan to have an online document exactly outlining the source model we want to use for future reference
Sushanta:
- The odd shape of the proton spectra in pythia is not pinned down to resonances, as it was also visible in the primordial proton spectra
- The same bump (albeit much weaker) could be seen by Chiara in the proton spectra produced with pythia for the in-Jet coalescence when applying a pT>5 condition
- We decided to fit the pythia spectrum and use the ratio of the fits as a correction function (like is done for EPOS)
- Fit pT<~0.8 GeV separately
- there were no Resonances higher than Delta(1232) feeding into protons found in 10k HM events
- redo analysis with higher statistics
Maxi:
- Check completeness of resonance table
- Delta- --> n+pi- but not protons!
- Anti-Delta- --> p+pi0?
- Ask PDG (i.e. FIST)
- complete the source model next week
We had a discussion about a rough time table for the next week. It goes as:
Week 30:
- Maxi: complete the source model(+port to pythia), finalize deuterons/protons in jet for EPOS
- Sushanta: complete resonance cocktail study
Week 31:
- Maxi: complete the code for deuterons/protons in Jet for pythia
- Sushanta: implement source model into pythia
Next week we will discuss the writing duties for the paper. Since many people are at ALICE week we might have to reschedule to accommodate those people.
