Description

We discuss solutions of the Strong CP Problem based on the framework of Spontaneous CP Violation. We derive sufficient conditions in order to simultaneously reproduce the flavor structure of the Standard Model and suppress the radiative corrections to the QCD topological angle comfortably below the current bound. The non-generic structure that these scenarios require can emerge from gauge invariance and a CP-conserving, but otherwise generic, physics at the Planck scale.
