How to reach the historic center of Catania from the airport

Bus
Take the ALIBUS. Leaving the airport, the ALIBUS stop is on your left, on the far left of the airport. The ticket costs € 4 and can be purchased on board. For timetables and routes, consult the ALIBUS page on the Catania Metropolitan Transport Company website here (click on any image for viewing the update timetable).

Taxi
The cost to reach the center with a taxi stationed at the airport should be 20-25 €, but it is advisable to make sure before boarding to avoid surprises.

A good company that does not keep cars stationed at the airport, but must be called by phone, guarantees a rate of € 18-22 depending on the time and destination in the city: RadioTaxi: www.radiotaxicatania.org, Tel: +39-095-8833 or +39-095-330966 (they should be able to answer in english).
