Description
New effects accompanying particle penetration through crystals, namely that of multiple volume reflection in one crystalline and that increase of probability of particle capture into the channelling regime by either crystal cut or buried amorphous layer are introduced. Applications of both effects to crystal collimation are simulated for the first time.
Advantages of Ge crystal use taking into account new effects are estimated.
