Description
I will present a measurement of the total and differential production cross sections of J/psi and Upsilon mesons in proton-proton collisions at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV at LHC, with the CMS experiment. The analysis is based on a sample of about 30 thousand J/Psi and 10 thousand Upsilon using the di-muon decay channel.
The differential production cross sections are measured up to 30GeV/c in the meson pT, for different rapidity ranges. The b-hadron component has been determined from a fit to the decay length distribution and the pT differential cross sections have been compared with the theory models.
