WORKSHOP BUS
We are organizing a bus transportation connecting Fiumicino Airport (FCO) "Leonardo da Vinci" to and from the workshop site, ferry crossing included (participants who will use the workshop bus don't have to buy any ferry ticket).
Arrival: Sunday September 25th, from Fiumicino Airport to Hotel del Golfo, h. 13:00.
Meeting point: Terminal 3 - arrival level, outside the exit door n. 1. There will be somebody of the Local Organizing Committee waiting for you at the meeting point about two hours before the shuttle bus departure (bus departure is sharp, take a flight that will arrive by 11:30/12:00, at least).
Departure: Saturday October 1st, from Hotel del Golfo to Fiumicino Airport, h. 7:00
(expected arrival time at the airport: h. 13:00).
Participants wishing to use the workshop bus are invited to specify the request in the registration form (this information is important for us also to book and buy the ferry tickets for all passengers).
How to reach the workshop venue
- By plane to Roma airports, and then using the workshop bus leaving only from Roma Fiumicino - Leonardo da Vinci airport (FCO).
- By plane to Pisa Airport, and then by the Airport Shuttle to Piombino Marittima and then by ferry-boat or hydrofoil to Portoferraio.
- By train to Piombino Marittima and then by ferry-boat or hydrofoil to Portoferraio.
A public bus connects Portoferraio to Procchio (6 minutes of walk to the hotel). Otherwise you can use a taxi or the hotel shuttle. - By car to Piombino, ferry-boat to Portoferraio, and to Golfo Hotel (about 10km).
