DS Material Meeting Minutes 14/12/2021 (L. Luzzi) 1. Status of the assay campaign and urgent assays: - results uploaded, things measured by ICPMS in LNGS related to electronics; - ultimated list with urgent assays; - solder paste samples in Kracow measurement are in progress; - Po extraction not already performed for capacitors; - no new results in kracow, they would like to prepare two samples of pcb boards before Christmas; - Status of acrylic samples: problems with customs, no news yet. - Surfactant issue: managing to prepare some samples, with igepal two order of magnitude below (uniformity seems good), gamma bkg now should be undercontrol. Next few days they try to purify igepal, maybe before Christmas. Let's interact offline to decide where to send the samples (LSC?)to verify if the procudere was successful; - Sami cable: a part is in Kracow and needs Po extraction, the rest in Canfranc under measurements, 2. Fission neutrons: status nas plans (Ludovico): Repeat the simulation for SiPMs in plan C and then we think about do it for cryostat. 3. Neutrons from the rock: status and plans (Ludovico): - Check if the number of tagged event at vessel could be reduced tagging gammas from inelastic scatter; - check deeply the status of survived events; - check the normalization. Next week we start with surface contamination and plate-out/dust measurement at LNGS.
