Description

The radiative and electroweak-penguin $B$ decays mediated via $b\to s\gamma$ and $b\to s{\ell }^{+}{\ell }^{-}$ transitions, respectively, are sensitive to new physics since new heavy particles can enter in the loop altering decay branching fractions and other kinetic observables. Search for the lepton-flavor violation and the test of lepton-flavor universality through these processes are also of topical interest. In this presentation, we report measurements of $B\to K^{\ast }\tau \tau$, $B\to K\tau \ell$, $B\to K_S^0{K}_S^0\gamma$ and $B\to p\mathrm{\Lambda }\gamma$ using $772\times {10}^6$ $B$-meson pairs recorded by the Belle experiment at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^{+}{e}^{-}$ collider. The talk may also cover a few topics on other rare $B$ and $B_s$ decays from Belle.
