Transportation
We organize a shuttle bus connecting Roma Airport - "Leonardo da Vinci" (FCO - Fiumicino) to and from the conference venue:
Arrival: On Sunday, September 25th: from Rome airport "Leonardo Da Vinci - FCO" to Hotel Hermitage, 13:45
Meeting point @ Terminal 3 - arrival level, outside the exit door n.1. There will be somebody of the Local Organizing Committee waiting for you at the meeting point about one hour before the shuttle bus departure.
Departure: Thursday, September 29th: From Hotel Hermitage to Roma airport "Leonardo Da Vinci - FCO" at 7:00 (expected arrival at 13:00).
We strongly suggest NOT to take a flight leaving before 14:30.
How to reach the workshop privately.
You can reach the ECLOUD'22 and the GWDVac'22 Workshops venue in the following ways:
- By plane to Roma airports, and then using the meeting buses leaving only from Roma Fiumicino - Leonardo da Vinci airport (FCO).
- By train to Piombino Marittima, ferry-boat to Portoferraio. A shuttle bus will be available upon request to connect the workshop site and Portoferraio harbour.
- By car to Piombino, ferry-boat to Portoferraio, a short drive to La Biodola (10km). Since parking is limited at the Hotel Hermitage, we encourage participants to use the meeting buses as much as possible.
