Description
Isolated rotating and oscillating compact superdense objects are
representing one of the largest group of potential sources for
permanent gravitational wave radiation. I will present results of our
theoretical calculations for Neutron Stars and white dwarfs. For the
models of Neutron stars energy of glitches/unexpected jumps in
rotating frequency/ is taken as a source feeding gravitational wave
radiation. Main parameters of GW radiation from three different types
of models for white dwarfs will be presented then.
I will discuss the results and explain why white dwarfs that are
forming the largest group of potential sources for GW
radiation/somehow underestimated now/ are so important for
gravitational wave physics
