Muon g-2: where are we?

ABSTRACT

A status of the theoretical predictions for the muon g-2 is discussed. The value of the leading-order hadronic contribution taking into account recent progress of the ISR measurements with KLOE and BaBar is presented. Also discussed is the situation with the estimates based on the data from tau lepton decay into two pions.
