Description
The result of a search for the rare decay B0_s to mu+ mu- using 6.1 fb-1 of
Run II data collected with the D0 detector at the Tevatron collider will be
presented. When setting limits on the branching ratio, selected events are
normalized to reconstructed B+ to J/Psi K+ events in order to decrease the
systematic uncertainty. Compared to the previous published D0 result, this
new result is based on 4 times more analyzed data and on an improved
background rejection using a multivariate discrimination technique.
