Then for the occasion Guillermo Ballesteros will lead a discussion on:
Eternal inflation.
Abstract:
I will briefly review the concept of cosmological inflation. I will try to
explain what is meant by eternal inflation and discuss some of its possible
implications for high energy physics and cosmology. Finally, I will discuss
certain unsolved issues regarding the use of eternal inflation and its
definition to deal with problems such as the smallness of the cosmological
constant.
