Power supplies for MB2 run at CERN:
We need two CAEN boards:
1) 1540 with DB25 connector. Can be sent from Naples.
2) 2517. Is at CAEN now. Giuliana will ask to change the connector to DB37 and send to CERN. Alex will provide the address of the laboratory.
These boards require a mainframe crate. Alex will rent one from CERN electronics pool.
There is a problem with the sense wire, as the supply does not maintain correct voltage and current. Could be a simple wiring issue, e.g. connection to the filter. Will be checked.
Gas pocket in the TPC:
Currently using a heater (two Pt-100 resistors). The observation is done with a video camera installed on the top flange.
Only heater option is no safe, in case a wire is lost. We need 2-3 independent systems, e.g. input and circulate warm gas. In this case we can also measure the pressure in the pocket.
