We will study the self-assembly of vesicles decorated with DNA linkers using simulations. We will highlight how the collective properties of these systems are strongly affected by the timescales at which complementary linkers bind and unbind. We will then show how the mobility of the linkers leads to programmable, multibody interactions that can be used, for instance, to fabricate crystals with a controllable thickness.
