Description

Many-body localization (MBL) is a way to break ergodicity, thermalization and transport in disordered interacting quantum systems. The structure of the Hilbert space support of localized states is particularly interesting: they exhibit multifractality in the Hilbert space and some information about the transition may be encoded within this structure. Moreover, this is a property which is numerically underutilized, all the while the investigation of the MBL phase using exact numerical methods is strongly limited to small systems due to the exponential increase of the size of the Hilbert space. In this talk I will show how controlled decimation schemes can be developed...
