After the successful approval of the installation of the unpolarised gas fixed target system (SMOG2) at LHC in LHCb and the good feedback received for the polarised target, this meeting wants to give a boost to the R&D of the experimental aspects of LHCspin. There are several issues to be solved to achieve our extremely ambitious goal: the installation of a polarised target (LHCSpin) in the LHC Long Shutdown 3 (2024-2026).
