The value of the Hubble constant has emerged as the strongest point of tension between predictions of the ΛCDM model of cosmology and observations. Independent determinations of the Hubble constant can provide clues about the origin of the discrepancy. We present the first determination of the Hubble constant from strong lensing time delay data and type Ia supernova (SN) luminosity distances that is independent of the cosmological model. We also discuss constraints obtained combining SN with cosmic clock and BAO data. The measurements also provide a consistency test of the Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker metric.
