HOW TO GET TO PAVIA

BY CAR
Pavia is located 30 kilometers south of Milano Ring Road (Tangenziale).

  • Milano-Genova highway (A7): exit “Pavia Nord – Bereguardo” and follow the signs to Pavia
  • Torino-Piacenza highway (A21): exit “Casteggio-Casatisma” and take the SS35 – Statale dei Giovi, follow the signs to Pavia

BY TRAIN
The Pavia railway station is located on the Milano-Genova line. The journey from Milan Central Station takes around 25 minutes (TrenitaliaTrenord).

BY PLANE
Pavia is served by the two Airports in Milan, Linate and Malpensa, or by the airport of Orio al Serio(Bergamo).

  • Arrival at Milan Linate Airport. From Linate airport you can get to Pavia by bus (here) or you can arrive to Milan Porta Vittoria station (bus 73) and then take a S13 train to Pavia (Trenitalia, Trenord).
  • Arrival at Milan Malpensa Airport. There is no direct bus connection to Pavia from Malpensa Airport. You can take either a bus (Terravision, Autostradale, MalpensaShuttle) or the the Malpensa Express train (Trenitalia, Trenord) to the Milan Central Railway Station and from there a train to Pavia (Trenitalia, Trenord).
  • Arrival at Milano Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport. There is no direct bus connection to Pavia from Orio al Serio Airport. You can take either a bus (Terravision, Autostradale, OrioShuttle) to the Milan Central Railway Station and from there a train to Pavia (Trenitalia, Trenord).

PAVIA CITY BUS
The urban public transport system in Pavia is operated by Autoguidovie.
The direct lines to CNAO from Pavia Station are the buses n. 3 and 7 (bus stop right in front of Pasticceria La Fermata dei Sapori) and CNAO is the 5th stop (Taramelli/Forlanini) from the station.
